We held our first Death Café today at Guardian Funeral Home in Blacktown. I can’t say for certain, but it might just be the first pagan-specific Death Café in Sydney—maybe even in Australia? 🤷♀️
Twenty-one people from across the pagan path spectrum came together to share their experiences and stories in a safe and supportive space. And, of course, there was tea, coffee, and biscuits to share as well.
Personally for me, it was a humbling and insightful experience to connect with other witches and pagans to chat in this context. I’m grateful that I was so well supported in this venture, special thanks to Adrianne and Kristie for helping make this a reality. And to B & M for holding the fort at home, and coming along on the day when I least expected it.
We’ll be meeting again for our next death cafe on April 6th at 12:30 PM
